Rebecca Jackson brings more than 25 years of experience in business and government, partnering with governing boards and executive leadership teams to strengthen governance, leadership, and organizational performance. As the founder of True North Performance Group, she helps organizations align people, strategy, and systems to achieve sustained excellence.
Rebecca is the creator of Leading True North®: The Six Pillars of High Performance, a signature organizational excellence system that strengthens leadership clarity, strategic focus, accountability, innovation, employee engagement, and collaboration. Through this framework, she guides organizations in building high-performing cultures grounded in shared purpose and disciplined execution.
A certified Tilt 365® practitioner, Rebecca integrates research-based personality and communication insights into her leadership development work, helping leaders build trust, improve collaboration, and navigate complexity effectively.
She also serves as adjunct faculty with the University of North Carolina’s Center for Public Leadership and Governance and is widely respected for her ability to facilitate alignment, build consensus, and lead meaningful organizational change.
Previously, Rebecca served as Chief of Staff and Chief Performance Officer for the City of Fayetteville, where her leadership contributed to national recognition for excellence in strategic planning and performance management, including honors from Governing Magazine and multiple ICMA awards.
